The mind calculates, the spirit yearns, the heart knows.

Im flying off to Hong Kong from the 17th to 21st of July. So glad to have a change of scenery. Not just the Singapore downtown belt. However, have to endure wisdom tooth surgery on the 10th. AGHZ.

To all my dear friends. !2 midnight is my curfew. Cant stay out later than that cos my mum worries for my health. "u noe by 40 you will look like..." She says im like cinderella, and if i reach home later than that, she might just send a pumpkin to look for me. Ahaha cute.

Night cycling tmr nite. The last week i spent gg out with diff ppl.

Monday
Had babtism class and a super rushed practiced worship. But thank God we pulled through, despite the last minute rehearsal.

Tuesday
Hung out with Ben. Aha quite fun. We went from Vivo to Clarke Quay to China town. And i bought a bling bling TAi TAi watch for ten bucks. It has a phoenix printed on the face. Ben bought some of his toys. (a monkey that dances, he also wanted to buy a clock with birds but it was scratched)

Wednesday
Hung with Jia Hui and Edrick at Toa Payoh swimming pool. Mostly it was Jia Hui teaching him how to swim. Ah she's a patient teacher. I was praying for no misfortunes to befall anyone. (no drowning) But Edrick could float and move forward! A big improvement. After that we decided to go to suntec city to get tube bikini tops for tanning but none appealed. On the way home I picked up A Rush of Blood to the Head by Coldplay. Love their music because its relaxing. Still pining for Rihannas CD though, Good Girl Gone Bad.

Thursday
I spent my day reading Cell by Stephen King. GREAT BOOK! Thats where I got my philosophical title. Its about how cell phones caused the next fall of civilisation. A widespread instantaneous holocaust. Anyone who picks up the cell phone gets fugged up by the signals and becomes a murdering zombie. Another recommended book is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. An inspiring tale of how we should follow our dreams. Of how God has a special plan for everyone. Andof how we are often afraid to even pursue them for the fear of failure.

Friday
Night cycling!
I hope it does not rain. My first time some more.
